My next look at a game may well be Dr Who, Time of the Daleks, not labeled as one player on the box, but has potential I think. all you have to do is choose Simon and River because River gets a HUGE bonus if you have Simon as well, which makes it pretty much possible to cheat.

I especially enjoyed having the dinosaur (the first player gets a Dinosaur Marker), for the whole game proudly on my dashboard, and I was reminded what a cool game Firefly is and what great production qualities it has. Get solid with Harken and you’ll avoid all but the cruiser’s card itself, or carry a Cry Baby on your ship. Looking forward to lockdown finishing and playing with one or both of my sons: this is so NOT the sort of board game my wife wants to play! This is where the heart of the game resides, usually being an afterthought for the early part of the game but serving as a ticking clock as soon as it becomes clear one player is moving toward the first of the main objectives.Players will continue to venture around space, completing jobs, and earning money, until someone fulfills the game’s goal requirements (6 different scenarios are included in the game). The Big Damn Crate not only does both of those things but it's also guaranteed to make your friends jealous. A crew has a need to be balanced, with some people who can shore up those weaker areas, yet all ships inevitably have their preferred approach. Players get to captain one of four Firefly-class ships (including Serenity) and then you build your crew by burning through the ‘Verse and hiring them on at one of five different locations: Persephone, Regina, Silverhold, Osiris, and the Space Bazaar at Red Sun.

The game’s open-ended structure sees players racing to be the first to complete the objectives set by one of 23 possible story cards, which add variety to each playthrough’s setup and goals. Those expansions will, in all likelihood, become future reviews covering what they add and how it improves or changes the gameplay. This mission was created by Joseph Kepler and it is a daring heist which is going to start this series of community missions off with a bang!Maybe on a second or third try once you get used to it, but not with four people all trying to grasp the rules as they go. There are six different story cards you can play through and you have to complete the goals on your story card to win the game. In 2008, Firefly announced that they would be working on Stronghold 3 followed by Crusader II because of demand from fans.
